The past week has been rather stressful academically and has caused me to fall off my fitness track. However after 12:20pm today, most of my stress will be no more because exams will be over until finals week :) That means no more stress binge days, getting back into a normal sleeping pattern, and as always running in the morning and trying to work out at least 4 times a week.
So now my only real struggle is that I work at an ice cream parlor during the summer and am surrounded by junk food and ice cream for hours on end. I always try to incorporate fitness into my hours at work partially to distract me from my boredom craving of sweets, but it’s always a struggle to avoid the crazy amount of ice cream and candy that surrounds me. Unless I bring healthy food with me it is way too easy to snack on ice cream and peanut butter cups when business is slow. I need mini work outs I can do in a work environment.
I cannot wait for this stressful week to be over so I can get back into the habit of eating healthy and working out. I’ve been slacking major and I need to bounce back.
